Directors: Ted & Laura Pless
The Pless' met in 1981 while marching in the Squires Drum & Bugle Corps in Watkins Glen, NY. They were the directors of the Groton "Scarlet Edge" Color Guard from 1992 - 1995 and led them to the MidYork Winterguard Class A State Championship Title. After moving to Florida they joined the staff of the Lake Mary H.S. Color Guard from 1997 - 1999. Lake Mary made HS Class A finals at WGI in Dayton, OH in 1998 and 1999. Last year was their first year working with Madison H.S. Color Guard. Even with an all rookie guard made up of mostly 8th graders last year, they were successful at leading us to 1st place color guard at 3 out of 4 band competitions we attended in 2008.
